Student Performance and Achievement Information

The program faculty gather data from the University Analytics and Institutional Research Office (UAIR) and the Career Services and Life Design Center, summarize and create a table to present the following data.

  1. program/option student graduation rates,
  2. retention rate,
  3. mean grade point averages of the graduating class,
  4. average years to complete the degree, 
  5. availability of awards/scholarships,
  6. tuition expenses to complete the entire program/option, and
  7. career placement rates.

A. Program/Option student graduation rates

The UCM Campus Data Hub provides data reports and interactive dashboards that display multi-year summary data for the University, its colleges, departments, and academic programs. Dashboards present current and historical trend data on the demographic and enrollment features of the student body at the institution, along with various outcome measures.

UCM Scholarship Finder is the University's online system that makes it easy and convenient for students to apply for all UCM Alumni Foundation Scholarships established by generous friends of the University. Online application instructions and details about individual scholarships are provided in the UCM Scholarship Finder online application. Simply fill out a single application that is automatically submitted toward all eligible scholarships! Most scholarships have due dates on February 1 st .

G. Career Placement Rate

Each year, the Career and Life Design Center collects data from UCM graduates regarding their primary post-graduation status. The Graduate Follow-Up Survey collects information designed to capture initial career outcomes for students 6 months after receiving their degree,  using guidelines set by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). These standards focus on the notion of a “career outcomes rate.” The website of First Destination Success Rate is located at
