Suspension Waiver Program

 

Creating Success with Previously Suspended
Students

The Suspension Waiver Program (SWP) is a highly structured, closely monitored program for high-potential students who have been previously suspended due to inadequate grades. This program allows students to continue their education at the University of Central Missouri as long as they meet certain criteria set by the SWP contract.

Success is measured by persistence toward graduation. To do this, students must earn at least a 2.0 semester GPA while raising their cumulative GPA above 2.0. Study skills, time management, communication, self-reflection and self-responsibility are a few of the skills students in this program will work on.

A limited number of students are invited to participate in the Suspension Waiver Program each year. For more information about the Suspension Waiver Program, contact:
