Demonstration of English Proficiency
Proficiency may be demonstrated by one of the following:

  • TOEFL exam score of 79 IBT or 550 PBT

  • IELTS exam score of 6.0

  • PTE academic score of 53

Note: The Demonstration of English Proficiency requirement is waived in cases where applicants have earned a degree from an accredited college or university in the US or have earned at least 24 regular semester hours of university credit from an accredited US college or university. Additionally, this requirement is waived for applicants who are citizens of countries where English is the official language.

Please submit all non-US transcripts directly to our preferred credential evaluators for authentication, course-by-course academic level assessment, and grade point average determination. Contact Graduate & International Student Services directly if you have questions about credential evaluation requirements. These are required from all institutions/colleges/universities attended.

We are unable to accept credential evaluations from other credential evaluators.

(Note: A minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 is required of all undergraduate course work, and a minimum GPA of 3.0 is required of all graduate transfer course work.)

This document is required to demonstrate sufficient financial support.

Official Bank Statement/Certification
This document is required as verification that adequate funds are currently and subsequently available to you in support of your tuition and living expenses while a student at UCM. I understand that the cost per academic year of attending the University of Central Missouri as a graduate student is approximately (In US Dollars):

Computer Science, CIS and IT, and Cybersecurity - $17,092.00

Ethical Strategic Leadership - $19,268.00

MBA Concentrations in Data Analytics and Healthcare Admin. - $19,268.00

IEP (English Classes) to Masters (While taking IEP Classes) - $24,178.00

All other majors - $21,443.00

Academic Records
Your academic records include:

  • Yearly secondary records showing class rank (if available).

  • Certified results from external exams.

  • Year-by-year records from each college, university or any other post-secondary institution you have attended.

(Note: that GRE scores must be submitted by Educational Testing Services (ETS) directly to the University of Central Missouri. The ETS code for sending GRE scores to UCM is 6090. Information about how to submit GMAT scores can be found here.)


Departmental Admission Requirements
Additional supporting materials as required by your graduate degree program must be submitted directly by you to the department where program admission is sought.

Admissions Deadlines
All applicants should apply for admission and submit required supporting materials as early as possible. All supporting documents must be received before the relevent admissions deadlines listed below.

Fall Application Deadlines

-Students coming from their home country July 1st 

-Transfer students  July 15th.

Spring Application Deadlines

-Students coming from their home country October 15th 

-Transfer students  December 1st.

Summer Application Deadlines (Intensive English Program, Computer Science,  Computer Information Systems & Information Technology, Technology, and Industrial Management)

-Students coming from their home country April 1st 

-Transfer students May 1st

All international applicants are automatically considered for financial aid awards. Individuals whose applications are complete on or before the deadlines listed above are given priority for scholarship consideration. The value of individual awards varies and is dependent upon academic merit and available funding levels.When awarded, scholarship amounts will be noted in the I-20.
