SSG Richard Herrera
SSG Richard Herrera enlisted in the MO National Guard in 2018 as a 12B and was assigned
to the 335th Area Clearance Company.
SSG Herrera served as a team leader and before transitioning to the Recruiting BN
and then the 1135th Engineer Clearance CO as a squad leader.
SSG Herrera is also a combat veteran, having deployed twice to Iraq and Syria.
His military education includes Advanced Leader Course and Recruiter School. SSG Herrera
also has an MBA with a Human Resource Management specialization.
