“I would like to express my thanks to the UCM School of Technology’s Electronics Technology Computer Networking Program. While obtaining the Computer Networking Degree through UCM’s School of Technology, I gained many hands on skills needed in the computer networking job market by working through the core curriculum which utilizes Cisco Network Academy. The Cisco knowledge base is the leading skill set in today’s Computer Networking Careers.

UCM’s Networking Degree Program also provided me with the opportunity to pursue and obtain an internship as part of the degree program. With the hands on knowledge and industry social skills learned through the degree program I was able to have the qualifications necessary to be accepted into the Cisco Systems Internship Program during my Senior year. Thankfully, the UCM Networking Program has the built in flexibility to provide long distant learning on many of its course structure allowing for me to pursue my internship while finishing my degree and graduating with honors through the Honor’s College. After graduation I was transitioned from the internship program into a full time position as a Network Customer Support Engineer at Cisco Systems.

I want to again extend many thanks to the UCM School of Technology Networking Program and to all those who assisted me along the way, making my career opportunities and dreams come true. Undoubtedly, without them I would not be as successful as I am today.”
