UCM Division of Theatre and Dance Presents Senior Showcase 2024

WARRENSBURG, MO – The University of Central Missouri (UCM) Division of Theatre and Dance presents Senior Showcase 2024 at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 5, at the James L. Highlander Theatre and at 7 p.m. Monday, April 22, on the Jerome Stage at the Unicorn Theatre in Kansas City, Missouri. Admission to both events is free. Doors open a half hour before each show for audiences to view performer headshots and resumes.

This year’s showcase features performers presenting a variety of songs, monologues, and scenes to highlight the culmination of their collegiate theatre careers. Professional theatre companies are invited to the Kansas City showcase network with the performers for upcoming productions.

Participants in the showcase and their academic credentials include seniors Danny Gage, BFA in Theatre Performance; TiJhana Hines, BFA in Musical Theatre, minor in Dance; Finn Juliano, BFA in Theatre Performance, minor in Digital Media Production; Katie Kaminski, BSBA in Events Marketing and Management, BSBA in Economics; Keyvon Lewis, BFA in Theatre Performance; Miranda Muenz, BFA in Musical Theatre, minor in Dance; Shanna Sinow, BFA in Musical Theatre, minor in Dance; Jen White, BFA in Musical Theatre, BS in Speech-Language Pathology; and Hanna Wilson, BA in Theatre, minor in Digital Media Production. Denise Robinson serves as musical accompanist, and is a visiting Assistant Professor of Theatre – Performance. Jenise Cook is director and coordinator of the showcase.

The Highlander Theatre is located at 600 S. College St, Warrensburg, Missouri. Parking for the Senior Showcase at the Highlander is available in the adjacent parking lot on the south side of Clark Street. The Unicorn Theatre is located at 3828 Main St. in Kansas City. Individuals attending the Senior Showcase at this venue should be aware that railway construction is taking place on Main Street. Parking is available on two lots that are located on the west side of Main Street, north of West 39th Street, and on one lot north of West 39th Street, between Wyandotte Street and Baltimore Avenue.
