The University of Central Missouri (UCM) Gallery of Art and Design will showcase senior
students with a two-part exhibition, "Senior Shows, Fall 2025."
Each semester, the UCM Gallery of Art and Design presents exhibitions of artwork made
by senior Art and Design students preparing to graduate. Due to the large number of students this semester,
the show will be divided into two groups. Group one is for students majoring in Graphic
Design, Illustration, and Interior Design. Group two is for students majoring in Studio
Art and Art Education.
The first installment of "Senior Shows, Fall 2025," opens Thursday, Nov. 13, in the
Art Center Galleries and will be on view through Saturday, Nov. 22. Visitors will see works by Graphic Design majors Adelina Kukosh, Daniel Earla, Isaac
Elkinton and Jackson Campbell (double major in Graphic Design and Illustration); Illustration
majors Abby Stanfield, Nathaniel Sullens, Alivia “Via” Miller and Sarah Quigley (double
major in Illustration and Graphic Design); and Interior Design majors Emily O’Neal,
Kynslie Catania, Juliet Goodsell, Nora Rook, Stormy Holt and Nikkita Dismuke.
The exhibition is an excellent opportunity to see the work of emerging professionals
in their respective fields. The public is invited to a reception celebrating these
students from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, in the Art Center Gallery. Admission
is free, and refreshments will be served.
The second installment of "Senior Shows, Fall 2025," opens Thursday, Dec. 4, and will
be on view through Dec. 13. This exhibition includes work by Studio Art majors Sydney Baird, Travis Cummings,
Holly Hazelrigg, Harper Heaps and Mallory Murray, and Art Education majors Issiah
Ausmus, Jade Feeler, Paige Schaefer, Alyssa Scholten and Lily Williams.
The second exhibition is a window into the aesthetic and conceptual concerns of artists/educators
at the cusp of their careers. There will be a public reception from noon to 2 p.m.
Saturday, Dec. 13. Admission is free, and refreshments will be served.
The UCM Gallery of Art and Design is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday,
with extended hours until 8 p.m. on Thursdays, and from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday. Admission
is free and open to the public.
