UCM to Host 8-week MOSOC Technology Certification for Missouri Youth

he University of Central Missouri (UCM) will host an eight-week Missouri Security Operation Center (MOSOC) Technology Certification designed to help high school seniors and young adults, 19 to 24, launch careers in physical security technology. The program is funded by the Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development (MDHEWD).

UCM Earns National Re-Accreditation for Concurrent Enrollment Programs

The University of Central Missouri (UCM) has earned national re-accreditation from the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP), reaffirming the university’s excellence in delivering rigorous, college-level coursework to high school students through its Dual Credit Program. As part of this distinction, UCM received a Concurrent Enrollment Program (CEP) Endorsement, the highest standard for programs in which high school instructors teach college-level courses.

Governor Parson Signs Budget Increasing Funding for the University of Central Missouri

University of Central Missouri (UCM) leaders expressed their appreciation for Missouri Governor Mike Parson and state legislators for developing a $51.7 billion Fiscal Year 2025 state budget that allocates a net core appropriation of $64 million to UCM. This represents an increase of nearly $1.9 million in expected revenue to UCM for FY 2025, bringing the University’s overall total operating budget to $178.4 million.
