The University of Central Missouri’s (UCM) Department of Public Safety announces the
launch of UCM Park, a new Parking Services app designed to make finding parking on the Warrensburg campus
easier for employees, students and visitors.
Powered by ParkZen, the app uses crowdsourced data from the campus community to provide
real-time information and helpful tools to enhance the parking experience. The app
works best when more people participate — increased engagement means improved accuracy
for everyone. Please note that parking lot occupancy estimates will become more accurate
as the system develops.
The UCM Park app offers a number of features:
-
Real-Time Parking Info: An interactive campus parking map displays lot occupancy and provides directions
to the nearest available lot for your UCM permit type.
-
Vehicle Locator: Never lose track of your car on campus again.
-
Permit Connection: The app offers convenient access to the UCM Permit Portal in MyCentral.
-
Courtesy Alerts: Receive reminders to move your vehicle if you are parked in a timed space or a lot
that does not match your UCM permit.
-
Announcements: Stay informed about lot closures, traffic alerts or policy changes.
-
Parking Feedback: Submit comments to UCM Parking Services.
The UCM Park app is available for download from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Use the app without a Parking Profile or log in. UCM employees and students can
log in using Single Sign-On, and visitors can create a parking profile in the app.
UCM Park uses anonymous data solely to detect open spaces on campus. It never tracks
users off campus, saves history or shares their location.
