Cooperative Contracts


The Office of Procurement has memberships with several cooperative purchasing agencies. As a member, we can procure goods and services from vendors who have established cooperative contracts if it is in the university's best interest as determined by the Office of Procurement.

Before using cooperative contracts, the Office of Procurement must perform due diligence to evaluate whether it is appropriate to use a cooperative contract, analyze all costs associated with purchase, ensure open competition, review contract for conformance with applicable laws and best practices and ask the Office of Contracts, Compliance, and Risk Management to review for legal compliance.
