K9 Echo - Crime's Worst Enemy, Central's Best Friend

Echo is a German Shepherd imported from Germany. He and handler, Officer Ben Brown, trained for several weeks at K9 Working Dogs International, LLC. in Longford KS. They graduated in December 2013. Echo is trained in passive narcotics detection, tracking of suspects, building search, obedience, and handler protection. Echo is assigned to the evening shift and conducts regular patrols of residence halls, parking lots, and other areas around campus. He also provides demonstrations to the university community
