Our students are involved with organizations and activities that provide opportunities to develop leadership skills, gain valuable experience, and interact with students and professionals.
ASO offers great opportunities for you to get involved outside of the classroom. This organization orients students to the Accountancy major and profession. As an Accountancy major, you are automatically a member of ASO free of charge.
VITA is offered on campus each tax season. You will attend training sessions to become certified and then volunteer to prepare income tax returns for UCM students, staff and the general public. The hands-on experience you will gain is invaluable, as is the service provided to our many taxpayer participants.
In addition to the School of Business Administration, our Accountancy programs are separately accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), so you know you’re earning a degree that counts in the real world.
