EdAssist

UCM partners with EdAssist to provide the following benefits to client employees:

  • 5% discount on all online courses

  • 5% discount on all courses taken at the University of Central Missouri-Lee's Summit location

  • $30.00 dollar application fee waived

  • Please note: The preferred tuition benefit is effective for enrollment in future terms upon reciept of the form and will not be applied retroactively.

Programs Eligible for EdAssist Benefits

Benefits Do Not Cover:  Programs/Courses taken on main campus (Warrensburg, MO)
Benefits Do Not Cover:  Spouses or dependents

Verification of Employment

Verification of employment information comes from the actual employer.  Student Financial Services requires confirmation of employment as well as something indicating the employer is part of the EdAssist network of clients.

Direct Bill students will provide their Letter of Credit to verify their employment. This Letter of Credit is provided at admission and subsequent enrollments the Letter of Credit is sent to Student Financial Services.

For client employees who do not have Direct Bill, students must contact their employer for an Employment Verification Letter. This Employment Verification Letter is provided at admission and subsequent enrollments the Employment Verification Letter wil be sent to Student Financial Services.

Employment Verification is required for each semester enrolled.

To Begin Your Education at UCM:

1. Determine Student Type/Complete UCM Application

  • Undergraduate Degree or Certificate (Freshmen or Transfer Student)
    • Email Admit@ucmo.edu to declare application wavier. Include Employment Verification Form or Letter of Credit
  • Graduate Degree or Certificate
    • Email gradinfo@ucmo.edu to declare application waiver. IncludeEmployment Verification Form or Letter of Credit
  • Non-degree seeking
    • Email extstudies@ucmo.edu to declare application waiver. Include Employment Verification Form or Letter of Credit
  • Professional Education (noncredit)
    • Email esregistration@ucmo.edu to declare application waiver. Include Ed Employment Verification Form or Letter of Credit

2. Register For Classes.

  • Once you're admitted to UCM, you will receive a student ID (700 number) so you can register for courses online. Visit the current schedule of classes to view courses and then register for classes through MyCentral.
  • Obtain additional skills or apply your training discounts with one of our partner organizations for noncredit professional education.
