The University of Central Missouri CPC Medical Billing and Coding certificate program is an ideal course for individuals new to a medical career. If you are seeking entry into the healthcare industry, this comprehensive program will provide all of the information you need to earn a certification in medical billing and coding. You will build a foundation of medical vocabulary and learn current medical coding standards. Upon completion of this comprehensive program, you will be prepared to sit for the Certified Professional Coder exam, offered by the American Academy of Professional Coders. The registration fee for this exam is included with this program. Through this program, students earn an industry-recognized certificate and continuing education units which may not be applied to a degree program and are not eligible for federal financial aid.
