

The University of Central Missouri’s Engineering Technician course provides you with the skills you need to prove your competency and launch a career in this rapidly growing field. This accelerated course provides students with a comprehensive overview of essential skills such as math, inspection, safety, machining, quality, grinding, electrical systems, automation, motor controls, additive manufacturing, design and management. Median pay for engineering technicians is approximately $52,580, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, with job growth estimated at close to 5 percent from 2018-28. Through this program, students earn a certificate of completion and continuing education units which may not be applied to a degree program and are not eligible for federal financial aid.
