The University of Central Missouri’s Graphic Design with Photoshop (Software Included) course is designed to provide students with the fundamentals of Photoshop, the gold standard for image creation and editing. You will learn design basics while building your skills step-by-step. Also included are the terms and processes used by professional graphic artists, rules and standards for graphic design as well as how to convey messages, styles and tones through your designs. This comprehensive course includes required textbooks as well as the software required for this program. Software will be provided with your tuition payment upon enrollment and is valid for one year after activation date. Online lessons will include real-world examples, challenges and assignments. Students will learn how to determine a client’s needs along with the marketing materials required to meet these needs. In addition, students completing the course will develop a professional online portfolio to help them enter the graphic design field.
