Dr. Robynn Kuhlmann

Dr. Kuhlmann’s fields of study encompass American political institutions and political
behavior. Her primary fields of expertise are state politics, political parties,
voting, and
elections. Her research interests focus on election administration laws and state
governments. Some of her publications include “Legislative Term Limits and Voter
Turnout” and “Making the Vote (In)Accessible: Election Administration Laws and
Turnout Among People with Disabilities” with Daniel C. Lewis. She has also written
invited blogs for the London School of Economics American Politics and Policy section
and is co-author of the book Show Me Missouri Politics: A Guidebook to the Missouri
Constitution.
She teaches State Government, Research Methods, Congress, Federalism and
Intergovernmental Relations, and Political Parties and Interest Groups. She also
oversees the department’s Government Internship Program.
