Middle School Education offers seven content specialization areas

  • Business: Today’s students are savvier than ever, eager to take charge of their own future. Learn how to guide their interests and ambition as a middle school business education teacher.
  • English Language Arts: Inspire students with your love of language while teaching them essential communication and critical thinking skills. Be the English teacher every student wants to have.
  • Industrial Technology: Help shape the future by guiding young people as they develop their interest in and knowledge of engineering and industrial technology. Our accredited program is the only one in Missouri recognized by the International Technology and Engineering Educators Association.
  • Math: Empower middle school students with critical thinking and problem-solving skills they’ll use to overcome challenges and thrive in and out of the classroom.
  • Science: Use your role as a middle school science teacher to ignite your students’ curiosity about the world around us and teach them observational and investigative skills that will serve them throughout their lives.
  • Social Studies: Use your passion for history or current events to educate young people about the world and their role in it. You’ll influence generations of citizens and leaders.
  • Speech/Theatre: Channel your energy for performance or public speaking in the classroom to boost your students’ confidence, self-expression and communication skills for their lifelong benefit.
