

Dr. Wu is a professor and the Program Coordinator for the M.S. in Occupational Safety Management program. He volunteers at ASSP’s Management Practice Specialty, ABET as a Program Evaluator (PEV), and SAE International (AS6228 Standard). Dr. Wu was named the 2025 Kenneth J Schueller Outstanding Academic Advisor Award and the 2020 Faculty Scholar Award at UCM, the 2024 Safety Professional of the Year Award by the Management Practice Specialty of ASSP, and the 2025 Outstanding Academic Advisor Award (Faculty) by the Missouri Academic Advising Association (MACADA). His occupational safety and health projects have been supported by federal agencies and professional organizations.
