Human Development and Family Science - Marriage and Family Therapy Option

This program’s sequence of courses and supervised clinical training are designed to assist professionals in meeting the educational requirements for licensure as a Marital and Family Therapists (LMFT) in Missouri.  Through individualized advising, students will work with our faculty to plan their curriculum and supervised clinical training in order to meet the educational requirements for the specific state's where they intend to practice. Being COAMFTE-accredited, the program improves students’ portability of their degree for licensure in other states. While our accreditation increases portability, UCM's degree program  is not designed  to meet any other state's educational requirements.
