Requirements
As a participating SARA institution that offers programs leading to professional licensure, we are required to notify you, upon admission and each semester, about state licensing requirements. The University of Central Missouri’s Bachelor of Social Work program is fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) and has been continuously accredited since 1986. This assures you that the program’s curriculum has been reviewed and is current and up-to-date, meeting the standards of the field’s accrediting body.
Licensure
Our program meets all the educational requirements for states that license at the bachelor's level. If you want to obtain your social work license outside the State of Missouri or learn specific information outside the educational requirements, the Association of Social Work Boards provides detailed information for each state.
