Homecoming is our largest campus and community party of the year! Alumni get excited, coming back to Warrensburg with their families and friends to reconnect with classmates and professors and to see how the university and city have changed. Students get excited, putting the spirit into one of the university’s longest-standing traditions through week-long competitions, the pep rally and parade.
UCM's 2020 Homecoming Parade and Game are on Saturday, October 24-25, 2020.
Student Organizations who wish to participate in the Homecoming activities need to register online when available. - Coming Soon!
The Spirit Windows Contest consists of participating organizations decorating a window on the UCM campus. Paintings should reflect the Homecoming theme and are painted the week before Homecoming, to be displayed for two weeks.
The Blood Drive, sponsored by the Community Blood Center in Kansas City, MO, is an opportunity for students, faculty, staff and the community to give back to others by donating blood. This is one of the biggest drives on campus so we encourage you to schedule an appointment at savealifenow.org.
The Cornhole Tournament is a fun way to get involved. See which team can score 21 points first!
Donation Creation is an opportunity for student organizations to show their creativity with charitable donations. Each organization will need to gather non-perishable food items to create a 3-D scene to represent the current year’s UCM Homecoming theme. Creations will be judged based on their creativity, relation to the theme, and originality.
Education for service is UCM’s motto and what better way to live up to the motto but to participate in community service! Community Service is done around campus, Warrensburg and close surrounding areas.
Each organization has an opportunity to have a candidate run for homecoming. Royalty candidates go through an interview process, put together an educational display and receive student votes.

Socks are being collected to support our local Project Community Connect Event that is always held in November. This event is an effort to connect people in need with resources in our community.
Groups compete against each other for the chance to be crowned Champions of Cheer. Come out and party with the competing organizations, the Mulekickers, cheerleaders and the Marching Mules! This event captures the true spirit of a college homecoming and gets current students, along with alumni and friends, pumped about the Mules football game the next day.
Decorate your door and show school spirit to support our Homecoming events.
We invite you to reconnect at Homecoming 2020 and then carry that momentum forward to cultivate a MuleNation network in your region.
