Sampson and Pretes farewell gathering in Spring 2006

Senator Kit Bond and Warsaw Mayor Ken Brown at the Warsaw Swinging Bridge.  In October 2006 Senator Bond announced a $200,000 federal grant that will aid in the restoration of the old highway bridge.  Dr. Legreid wrote the nomination of the bridge to the National Register of Historic Places in 1999 and a number of geography students have been involved in research and survey projects in the Warsaw community in the past few years.
