Dr. Eddie Cho

Professor of Criminal Justice & Criminology

Dr. Cho teaches Introduction to Criminal Justice, Introduction to Criminal Justice Research & Statistics, Crime Mapping, and Graduate Statistics

  • Research interests include comparative analysis of crime and juvenile delinquency in the U.S., South Korea, and Japan
  • Serves as the faculty advisor for the Korean Student Association and frequently leads study tours to Japan and South Korea
  • Extensive law enforcement experience includes serving as the Foreign Affairs Section Leader for the Kyonggi Province Police Agency in Suwon, South Korea (foreign crime data collection and investigations), Chief of the Pyonchon Police Substation in Kwachon, South Korea, Criminal Investigation Section Leader for the Kwachon (South Korea) Police Department, and a Platoon Leader for the Mobile Police Regiment of Chungnam Police Agency in Daejeon, South Korea (riot control and counter terrorism)
