Dr. Marlys Peck
Professor of Social Work | BSW Program Director

Dr. Marlys Peck is a Professor of Social Work at the University of Central Missouri, where she serves as Director of the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) Program and faculty mentor for the Association of Social Work Students. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of MissouriColumbia.

Her teaching interests include human development, foundational social work skills, and macro social work practice. Her research focuses on community collaboration and social entrepreneurship partnerships that promote community impact and learner empowerment. Dr. Peck has presented her work nationally and internationally and has received funding through the Erasmus+ Scholar Exchange program to support global engagement.
