Dr. Solon is an Assistant Professor of Management. She teaches courses in Business Communication, Events Management, and Leadership. Her research interests include the influence of gender in the professionalization process and the experience of women in the workforce. Dr. Solon serves as the program coordinator for the Events Marketing and Management program and she is involved with Meeting Planners International, Kansas CIty.
