Shannon McCarthy, an associate professor of marketing, earned her Ph.D. from the University of Arkansas. She came to UCM in 2016, and primarily teaches Sports Marketing, Marketing Research, and Marketing Management courses. Dr. McCarthy is also a faculty advisor for the American Marketing Association. Her research focuses on consumer-brand relationships, crisis communication, and self-brand connection as facilitated through social media.
