Joshua Link

CW3 (Ret) Link enlisted in the Army in 2001, where he served for 18 years, both as an enlisted Soldier and as a Warrant Officer. He spent the majority of his career as an AH-64D pilot for the 1-135th Attack Reconnaissance Battalion here at Whiteman AFB before retiring in 2019 as a UH-60 Pilot with the Tennessee Army National Guard. Chief Link spent time in western Afghanistan from 2013 to 2014 as an AH-64D pilot in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Chief Link made Pilot-in-Command in 2013, he then attended the Tactical Operations Officer Course as a CW2 in 2015, followed by the Warrant Officer Advanced Course in 2016.

Chief Link has received a Bachelor’s Degree from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Master’s Degree from William Woods University, and is currently working on an Educational Specialist from UCM. Since retiring from the Army, Chief Link transitioned to the classroom as a high school teacher spending time in many of the local high schools including, Concordia, Green Ridge, and Clinton. His family includes his wife, Stephanie, along with 4 Kids, Angelica, Brooklyn, Cora, and Greyson (who is currently in JROTC at Warrensburg HS).
