This major is unique in its focus on promoting new ventures that start from the ground up with practical, innovative and sustainable approaches to benefit society in general.

Why choose Entrepreneurship and Social Enterprise at UCM?

  • This major is unique because it offers office space for students to begin their social ventures in UCM's StartUp Center.
  • The Harmon College has earned the prestigious accreditation, Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
  • Entrepreneurship and Social Enterprise students take the¬†Integrative Business Experience¬†classes, which allows you to create and operate start-up businesses (based on bank loans of up to $5,000 per business) and manage hands-on service projects for nonprofit organizations.

What will I study?
You will get to create business solutions and innovations with a social conscience, develop technology that is environmentally sustainable and tackle social problems with profitable solutions. You will also learn to design, launch and grow new businesses in a variety of sectors.
