Taking advantage of the University of Central Missouri’s internal administrative and leadership talent, the UCM Board of Governors today named Roger Best, Ph.D., the university’s 16th president.

While continuing to keep costs as low as possible and provide quality coverage, the University of Central Missouri Board of Governors approved accepting a zero percent rate change in one of the employee healthcare insurance plan options and a 1.83 percent rate increase in the remaining two options from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City for the 2019 benefit year.
