Free Family Event and TV Series Preview Screening Hosted by KMOS PBS and Runge Conservation Nature Center June 23
KMOS PBS and the Runge Conservation Nature Center have partnered to present KMOS PBS Adventure Day beginning at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 23. This free public event, sponsored in part by Hitachi Energy of Jefferson City, will take place at the Runge Nature Center in Jefferson City.

KMOS-TV Honored for Community Programming
KMOS-TV received two awards in recognition of excellence in content and for marketing of “The Story of Us: A KMOS American Portrait Special.” Presented in a virtual ceremony on Jan. 25 by the National Educational Telecommunications Association (NETA), these awards celebrate stations’ work in education, community engagement, marketing/communications and content.

Join University of Central Missouri 2014 Distinguished Alumna Meryl Lin McKean and UCM President Roger J. Best to support local public broadcasting as they host a pledge drive at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, during KMOS-TV’s airing of “Mule Tracks: UCM After 150 Years.”
