UCM Welcomes WAFB 509th Commander to Campus
WARRENSBURG, MO – Continuing to build upon its relationship with the men and women who serve at Whiteman Air Force Base, the University of Central Missouri hosted a visit by Col. Daniel C. Diehl on Aug. 6. This was Col. Diehl’s first visit to UCM after officially taking the reins as commander of the 509th Bomb Wing during a ceremony June 16 at Whiteman AFB.

UCM Collaborates with Air Force on Online CJ Degree for Military Members
Whether they serve at nearby Whiteman Air Force Base or across the globe, men and women in the United States Air Force who are pursuing an associate degree can now apply their Air Force college credit toward an online Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Criminology from the University of Central Missouri.

Building upon a long tradition of collaboration with Whiteman Air Force Base, which has contributed to its Military Friendly® designation, the University of Central Missouri recently hosted members of the 509th Bomb Wing and 422nd Fighter Wing command and staff for a tour of the Military and Veterans Success Center.
