UCM Cuts Ribbon Celebrating New Harbert Collegiate Golf Center, Commemorating New Era of Support, Success for Student Athletes
Ushering in a new era of support and success for the Mules and Jennies golf teams, the University of Central Missouri celebrated the opening of the new Randall and Kelly Harbert Collegiate Golf Center at the Mules National Golf Club on April 20.

Harris-Stowe President, Military and Veterans Leader Honored by SGA
A University of Central Missouri alumna who is the first woman to serve as president of Harris-Stowe State University and a UCM leader who is making a difference in the lives of active duty military students, veterans, and military dependents were recipients of annual awards presented by the Student Government Association on April 16. The awards ceremony took place at the Read and Relax area on the ground floor of the James C. Kirkpatrick Library. Harris-Stowe’s 21st President, Dr. Latonia Collins Smith, received the James C. Kirkpatrick Excellence in Governance Award and UCM’s Director of Military and Veteran Services, Courtney Swoboda, was presented the Walter Hicklin Excellence in Service Award.

Byler Faculty Award Honors Professor Boney's Impact on Students Engaged in Modern Languages Program
Described by professional colleagues as an energetic champion for students and a talented, dedicated and enthusiastic educator, Kristy Boney, Ph.D., is being honored as the 2024 recipient of the University of Central Missouri’s Byler Distinguished Faculty Award.
