President's Commission on Access, Opportunity and Community

The President’s Commission for Access, Opportunity and Community was established in 2021 and is comprised of students, staff and faculty. The Commission is responsible for monitoring the internal campus dynamic and providing recommendations to the President that are intended to foster a greater sense of community for all campus stakeholders and to remove obstacles that impede student and employee success.  As an institution of higher education, our primary objective is the success of our students.  As a major employer in our region, we are also committed to the success of our employees through opportunities for advancement and a culture of support. While no institution can be all things to all people, at UCM, we strive to be the best version of ourselves for the sake of our students and employees.
