Honors Students Selected to Present at the National Collegiate Honors Council Annual Conference in Boston, MA

Honors colleges must keep pace with emerging communication technologies in today’s world. Newsletters must be digital, convenient, and able to reach a broad range of audiences through various media. Alyssa Winkelman, a senior Graphic Art Technology Management major and Photography minor, from Crystal City, MO will demonstrate how The Honors College at The University of Central Missouri transformed a traditional newsletter into a virtual newsletter.

Emily Mason, a senior Interior Design major from Kansas City, MO and Christina Parle, a Criminal Justice and Political Science major from Belton, MO will discuss the structure, purpose, and duties of The Honors College Student Association (HCSA) committees at the University of Central Missouri while focusing on the challenges faced by our Social and PR Committees, as they have sought to increase student engagement and participation in HCSA events.
