What you will study

Learn problem-solving and analytical skills in the University of Central Missouri’s BS in Mathematics degree program. Our undergraduate courses teach you how to communicate mathematical ideas and apply theories to real-world scenarios.

Take courses in calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, topology and modern algebra to learn how to perform a wide range of mathematical functions. You’ll also study statistics, discrete mathematics, probability, graph theory, combinatorics and data analysis to understand how to apply math to solve problems.

Math majors often participate in UCM’s student chapter of the Mathematical Association of America and the Missouri Beta Chapter of Kappa Mu Epsilon, the national mathematics honor society.
