What you'll learn in UCM's Interdisciplinary Studies program
This program includes nine credit hours of foundational coursework – including a culminating project tied to your professional goals – and 24 credit hours of electives across your two selected disciplines. Throughout the program, you’ll integrate perspectives from both focus areas while strengthening your ability to evaluate complex issues from multiple viewpoints, integrate research across disciplines and propose and communicate applied solutions.
- INDS 5100 - Introduction to Interdisciplinary Studies (3 credit hours)
- INDS 5200 - Problem Solving and Analysis (3 credit hours)
- INDS 6000 - Capstone in Interdisciplinary Studies (3 credit hours)

Acceptance into the program requires a minimum 2.75 undergraduate GPA (additional screening required if below 2.74) and a statement of intent outlining the two disciplines you are interested in and how they align with your career goals.
