What you will study
Learn the importance of enterprise-wide systems and their ability to integrate data
related to all aspects of business on a real-time basis. You’ll first gain a high-level
understanding of practices and issues facing information technology and information
security professionals — as well as managers in all business facets — including:
- Programming fundamentals using the widely recognized Visual C# language
- How to make ethical decisions for purchases and implementations related to IT/IS
- The principles and basic concepts of database management
- How to analyze and design information systems using a common modeling language while
taking IT security into consideration
You’ll then engage in undergraduate coursework specific to enterprise resource planning
for a well-rounded education that helps you become an integral member of any management

In classes led by SAP-trained UCM faculty, you’ll explore how to integrate and update
business processes using SAP software through review of case studies of ERP system
implementations. You’ll also learn to configure business rules specific to organizational
processes, manage Business Process Integration (BPI) activities and perform Business-to-Business
(B2B) transactions — lessons that help you understand the impact of ERP systems on
organizational performance.
