What you will study

Most students in the University of Central Missouri’s minor in Psychology program take a core set of courses that may include:

  • General Psychology
  • Psychology of Personal Adjustment
  • Social Psychology

You can then add specialized courses that complement your major. Criminal Justice and Criminology majors may want to take Forensic Psychology or an Abnormal Psychology class. Business majors will benefit from Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Child and Family Development majors can enhance their learning plans with Child and Adolescent Psychological Development or Psychology of Adolescence.

No matter your major, UCM’s Psychology minor offers courses that will give you new perspectives on your field.
