Our Accountancy programs offers courses covering topics in financial accounting, individual and corporate tax law, accounting information systems, managerial accounting, data analytics and more — all while providing opportunities for you to gain practical experience and work with industry-standard software.

As an accountancy major, you are automatically a member of ASO free of charge.

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance

VITA is offered on campus each tax season. You will attend training sessions to become certified and then volunteer to prepare income tax returns for UCM students, staff and the general public. The hands-on experience you will gain is invaluable, as is the service provided to our many taxpayer participants. VITA Flyer

We offer an annual Accountancy Meet the Firms event, social activities and networking opportunities, plus student groups such as Accountancy Student Organization and Beta Alpha Psi. 
  • Collaborative, state-of-the-art classrooms and courses: Take classes in our recently renovated collaboration classroom with flexible seating and cutting-edge technology. Use data analytics tools and become well-versed in industry software and techniques. Take advantage of a private computer lab for UCM Accounting students.
  • Engaging, expert instructors: Your instructors will be with you every step of the way as you complete courses, take certification exams and transition from student to professional. Our faculty also regularly publish in accounting and academic journals, so you know they’ll bring extensive real-world experience to the classroom.
