Dr. Pauline Ratnasingam teaches courses in Management of Information Systems, Internet for Enterprise, Server Side Internet Resources and Technology based Research and Quantitative Tools.   

Dr. Ratnasingam believes in applying the concepts taught in class in a real life setting. Students are required to visit organizations and interview managers applying the system development life cycle in her Management Information Systems class. This project aims to develop and improve students’ critical, analytical, creative, verbal and written communication skills, as they are required to play the role of systems analysts and recommend solutions back to the organizations thereby enhancing best business practices. She also encourages students to enhance their learning through in class discussions, research, and laboratory exercises.     

Dr Ratnasingam’s research interests are in the areas of Trust in Business to Business E-Commerce, E-Collaboration, Information Security, Risk Management, and Knowledge Management. She has published more than 50 research papers in various peer-reviewed journals as well as international and national conferences. Her scholarship, rigor and innovation in this area are evident from the number of research grants and awards she received. She received a $60,000 grant from National Science Foundation (NSF), in addition numerous internal grants.
