Dr. Mick Luehrman
Dr. Luehrman teaches art education, fibers, and studio foundation courses. He is a
practicing sculptural paper artist. Luehrman is a past President of the Missouri Art
Education Association and served on the MAEA state council for fourteen years. He
taught elementary art in the Knob Noster school district for 10 years. His research
is in the area of principals' perceptions of art in the public schools, childrens
artistic development, and fiber arts. He's a Byler Distinguished Faculty awardee.
In addition to his work in visual art, Luehrman is also active as a singer, songwriter,
and musician.
