Taylor is an alumna who received both her bachelor and master degrees from the University of Central Missouri. Taylor holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing association and is licensed by the Missouri Board of Healing Arts.

Taylor has clinical experience serving adult populations in a wide variety of medical settings including: long-term care, acute care, inpatient rehab, outpatient rehab, home health, and SNF. She previously worked as a Therapy Program Manager overseeing the skilled rehabilitation department in a long-term care facility for veterans. Her professional areas of interest focus on dysphagia, neurodegenerative communication disorders, motor speech disorders, and clinical supervision.
