As one of only two Missouri schools to hold Certification for Education in Public Relations (CEPR) by the Public Relations Society of America, UCM sets a high standard of education not found at other institutions:

Our dedicated Public Relations faculty and staff care about your academic and professional success and maintain an average class size of 17 students to ensure one-on-one interaction with you.

To help you make connections, we offer plenty of occasions to meet and work with Public Relations professionals, including our highly engaged alumni, who offer career opportunities.

We’ll assist actual clients with strategic communication needs within our classrooms, and you may be chosen to work at our on-campus, student-led PR agency. You can also complete a true public relations internship for an in-depth look at your future.

 

What can you do with a degree in one of UCM’s Public Relations programs?

When you complete your studies in Public Relations at the University of Central Missouri, you’ll leave with the knowledge and skills public relations firms, businesses in all industries and nonprofit organizations seek.
