In a meeting by telephone March 26, the University of Central Missouri Board of Governors approved the purchase of a new broadcast transmitter for UCM’s public television station, KMOS-TV, and authorized an agreement for on-call kitchen replacement and maintenance repair services.

Ken Weymuth, a third-generation business owner from Sedalia, has been named to the University of Central Missouri’s Board of Governors. Missouri Gov. Mike Parson announced the appointment, which will be effective through Jan. 1, 2025, pending Missouri Senate confirmation.
January 08, 2020Among several action items on a busy agenda, the University of Central Missouri Board of Governors set student room and board rates for 2016-2017 when it met on campus March 18. Other items approved by the board included the purchase of new equipment for the Student Recreation and Wellness Center, improvements to the South Plaza entry area of Audrey J. Walton Stadium, the award of a contract for dredging Lake Cena, and upgraded fire alarm system for Nattinger-Bradshaw Hall.
