The University of Central Missouri is offering a summer Intro to Chemistry (CHEM 1104) course with lab May 30 through July 6 at the Missouri Innovation Campus in Lee’s Summit. Lectures will take place 9:30 to 11:45 a.m. with the lab from 12:30 to 2:20 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Two Missouri Innovation Campus (MIC) programs were recently named Registered Apprenticeship Programs through the U.S. Department of Labor, following a comprehensive application and evaluation process. The two programs – Cybersecurity and Software Development – are the first MIC programs to earn this designation.

The Missouri Innovation Campus program is currently recruiting students for its 2023-27 cohort. Students entering the recognized program are in their sophomore year and come from Summit Technology Academy’s 33 sending high schools.
