Collegiate Esports Gaining Momentum at UCM
Part of the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE), UCM Esports began in the fall 2019 with team members playing other competitive college-level teams in games such as Overwatch, League of Legends and Rocket League. In the fall 2020 season, UCM Esports added Rainbow Six Siege, NBA2K, Super Smash Brothers and Valorant to their line-up of games.

ABET Accredits Six UCM Programs in College of Health, Science and Technology
ABET, an organization that sets the standard worldwide for the accreditation of programs in applied and natural science, computing, engineering and engineering technology, has approved accreditation for six university of Central Missouri academic programs. All of these programs are housed in the College of Health, Science and Technology.

Making a list that includes programs at some of the most prestigious institutions of higher education in the nation, the University of Central Missouri has been recognized by CyberDegreesEDU among public and private colleges and universities offering “Best Cybersecurity Masters Programs.”
