Hands-on Experience at UCM's Mixed Reality Studio Helps Recent Graduate Sean Martin in His Career Search
Joining the University of Central Missouri’s Mixed Reality Software Development Team greatly benefited recent UCM graduate Sean Martin as he launches his new career in computer science. Martin earned a bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity and a bachelor’s in computer science software development, graduating cum laude in May 2022.

UCM School of Nursing Open House Scheduled for Sept. 27
The University of Central Missouri’s School of Nursing will host an open house from 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Missouri Innovation Campus, UCM’s Lee’s Summit campus, 1101 Innovation Parkway. Register by Sept. 9 to attend and learn more about the nursing profession and the recognized programs offered by UCM.

UCM's First 'Grow Your Own Teachers' Cohort Graduates with All 17 Launching Careers
The University of Central Missouri Grow Your Own Teachers program provides significant benefits to adult learners as well as school districts with the first 17 program graduates entering their own classrooms this fall. Thanks to a partnership with 14 districts, this unique collaboration helps paraprofessionals earn a bachelor’s degree in education while working full time.
