Grant Helps Missouri Safety Center Explore New Measures to Counter Increase in Impaired Drivers

While the number of impaired drivers is escalating, the Missouri Safety Center at the University of Central Missouri has a new opportunity to help address this national and state issue. It is receiving grant funding that paves the way for research into new tools to help keep high-risk drivers from getting behind the wheel.

JCCHS Coordinates Free COVID-19 Testing at UCM, Open to All Missourians

Johnson County Community Health Services (JCCHS), in cooperation with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, will host a COVID-19 Community Testing event from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, at the University of Central Missouri. It is free to all Missouri residents.

KMOS-TV Partners with West-Central Independent Living Solutions to Celebrate 30th Anniversary of Signing of Americans with Disabilities Act

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act on July 26, KMOS-TV will broadcast a series of inspirational documentary films that highlight and celebrate individuals who have overcome mental and/or physical challenges to achieve their goals. These films will air nightly at 5 p.m. beginning Monday, July 20 through Friday, July 24 on KMOS Emerge 6.3.
