Technology Services and Account Management

Technology touches every part of higher education. The Information Technology office collaborates with the academic departments and offices to ensure the University of Central Missouri is prepared to face and adapt with the ever-changing landscape of information technology in education. A number of teams work to maintain the campus network, University accounts, hardware and computers, and information security.

  • The Technology Support Center is the first line of support for  students, faculty and staff experiencing disruptions with their university account or an issue with a university device. The TSC works to communicate with the other teams in Information Technology to ensure issues are escalated, addressed and resolved.
  • Campus Technology Services include oversight of end-user technology resources and maintenance of university devices across all university academic departments and offices.
  • Multimedia Services equips and updates the displays, computers, cameras and other technology that enables students - both in the classroom and online - to better engage with their instructors and course material.
  • Infrastructure Services includes oversight of enterprise and departmental servers and storage, network connectivity, WiFi, and security.
  • Application Systems includes oversight of enterprise and departmental systems  to include design, development, implementation, maintenance and support.
  • Technology Operations is responsible for fiscal operations, administrative support, hardware and software contracts, licensing and procurement, and modifying university accounts.
